Shibeet belongs to a very rich family of music called Banaras Gharana.
Shibeet Prasanna took internal education from his grandfather Pandit Vishnu Prasanna, a well known artist of Flute & Shehnai Top Grade Artist of All India Radio and Permanent Staff Artist of Song and Drama Division Delhi Govt of India. Post that Shibeet took training under his father Pandit Parmod Prasanna and his uncle Pandit Rajendera Prasanna and is still learning from his younger uncle Pandit Ajay Shankar Prasanna.
Shibeet gave his first performance at the age of ten in Prayag Sangeet Samiti in Allahabad. He participated in All India Music Competition 2013 and won it with aplomb. After earning his B high Grade from All India Radio he continues to perform his solo recital each year.
Shibeet is well known for his incredible melody, fluency, maturity in his performances as he is apt in both Gayaki and Tantkari Style of playing. He has wowed audiences in his magnificent solo performance in Turkey, Singapore, Istanbul, Switzerland in Europe and also different cities in India like Chennai, Rameshwaram, Bhopal Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai etc.
Shibeet also participated in various Music Festivals like Vasantotsav, IIT Patna, IIT Delhi, IIM Amritsar, IISER Bhopal, IIT Kanpur, Tedx Talk India and Iccr Delhi.
He has won several national and international recognitions for his solo classical concert. He also formed his own folk rock band called Chaar Hazaari whose performances have been held throughout all over in India as a result of being a reputed dedicated and devoted classical musician.
His playing is marked by uncanny intuition and masterful improvisational dexterity founded in formidable knowledge and his study.
